Get your free estimateThe Meadowsweet Heating and Air San Antonio Guarantee
When we install a new AC system or repair a furnace in San Antonio, the promise is simple: if it is not done right, we make it right. That is the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and it is the same commitment behind every job we do, from a capacitor replacement in Alamo Heights to a full AC installation in Stone Oak. No runarounds. No fine print. We are part of the Cedarwell family of HVAC companies, founded in 2004, and every Meadowsweet visit carries the Cedarwell Care Promise: your floors stay clean, your indoor air stays clean, your pets stay safe, your sleeping kids stay asleep, and you get a written price before a single tool comes off the truck. Luis Serrano runs this location, and he holds every technician to that standard on every single call.
What’s Covered
- Workmanship on every repair and installation. If an AC repair we made fails within 365 days, we return and fix it at no charge, period.
- Written price before any work starts. You approve the number before we begin, so there is never a surprise line item at the end of a visit.
- No-mess work areas. Shoe covers go on before boots cross your threshold, and drop cloths protect your floors and play areas from the front door to the air handler.
- Photo proof of cleanup. Before the crew leaves, we take a photo of the cleaned work area and send it to you, so you can see what we left behind, even if you were not in the room.
- On-time arrival, or we communicate. If we are running late, you will hear from a live person, not a voicemail, with an updated arrival window.
- Honest diagnosis with options, not pressure. Every recommendation comes with a clear price and a plain explanation of what is urgent, what can wait, and what is optional.
- Respect for your home and family. Our technicians follow the C.A.R.E. values code: Clean up like it is their own home, Ask before moving anything, Respect the family’s time and quiet hours, Explain the price before the work.
- Parts and equipment handling. When a part fails under a manufacturer’s warranty, we handle the paperwork and installation logistics, so you are not stuck chasing down a distributor in San Antonio traffic.

Our Satisfaction Promise
If something is not right after we leave, the process is short and it starts with a phone call to (254) 271-2545, answered by a live person, any hour, any day. You tell us what is wrong. We schedule the return visit at a time that works for your household, including evenings and weekends. A technician comes back, re-diagnoses the issue, and fixes it with no charge for labor on work we originally performed. If the problem was our workmanship, the fix is on us, fully. If the system has a separate issue that was not part of the original job, we write up a new price first and you approve it before any additional work begins. Luis Serrano’s instruction to every tech is the same: leave the home the way you would want your own mother’s house left. That means the crew wears shoe covers, lays down drop cloths, and sends the cleanup photo again on the return trip. Most follow-up visits in San Antonio take under an hour, and we do not consider the job closed until you are comfortable standing next to the unit and pointing at what we fixed while we explain it in plain English.
Licensed & Insured Backing
A guarantee is only as strong as the company behind the paperwork, and Meadowsweet Heating and Air San Antonio carries the licensing and insurance a Texas HVAC contractor should. We are licensed through the state of Texas, insured and bonded, and every technician on our trucks is background-checked and uniformed. What that means for you: if a job goes sideways, you are not left holding the cost. If a technician is hurt on your property, that claim does not become your homeowner’s insurance problem. The nine equipment brands we service, Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, and American Standard, all recognize qualified licensed contractors for warranty work, and we document every repair so manufacturer warranty coverage remains intact. Licensing and insurance are not marketing language. They are the legal and financial structure that makes our 365-Day Done Right Promise real, not just something we say on a truck wrap.

AfterWhat’s Not Covered
We want to be straight about the boundaries of the promise, because clarity is part of the deal.
- Manufacturer part warranties are separate from our workmanship guarantee. If a compressor fails under its factory warranty, the part itself is covered by the manufacturer’s terms, not by Meadowsweet. Our labor on handling the warranty replacement still carries our 365-day workmanship backing.
- Damage from events outside normal operation. Lightning strikes, flooding from a burst pipe, tree limbs through a condenser, and similar events are not workmanship issues, though we will always come out and give you a written price to repair the damage.
- Neglect between visits. If a furnace has a clogged filter that was last changed during the Obama administration, the resulting heat exchanger issue is not a workmanship failure. We will fix it, but it is a separate service call with its own written price.
- Customer-approved add-ons we recommended against. If you ask us to patch a leaking evaporator coil rather than replace it and we tell you the leak will return, we will do the patch with a written note, but the 365-day promise covers our work on that patch, not the coil’s underlying condition.
- Equipment beyond its useful life. A 22-year-old R-22 condenser that loses its charge after we refill it is aging out of service, not a failed repair. We will tell you that before we touch it, with a written price for the refill and a separate written price for replacement, and you choose.
- Third-party work. If another contractor repairs our installation and creates a problem, that is on them, not on our promise. We are still glad to fix it, with a written price first.
Call (254) 271-2545 for an exact quote on any repair or installation, any time, day or night. A live person answers, every time, and estimates are free.
How to Make a Claim Under Our Guarantee
The process is designed to be short.
- Call (254) 271-2545. A live person answers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. You will not sit through a voicemail queue.
- Describe the issue. Tell us what is happening, what room it is happening in, and when it started. Our team logs the details and pulls your original job record.
- We schedule the return visit. We work around your schedule in San Antonio, not the other way around. Evenings and weekends are available.
- The technician re-diagnoses. If the issue falls under our 365-Day Done Right Promise, the fix is on us. If it is a new issue, you get a written price and approve it before work begins.
- Cleanup and photo proof again. Shoe covers, drop cloths, and a photo of the clean work area before the crew leaves. That is the same standard on the hundredth visit as the first.
Why Our Guarantee Matters in San Antonio
San Antonio heat in July and August is not an abstract weather report. It is a 100-plus degree week where your AC runs 18 hours a day and a failed compressor means moving the family to a hotel or sweltering through the night. Cold snaps in January are rarer, but when a furnace quits during a Hill Country freeze, it is the same urgency in the other direction. A guarantee from a heating and air company matters most when the system fails at the worst possible moment. That is why the 365-Day Done Right Promise is not a brochure line. It is the reason we answer the phone with a live person at 3 a.m., the reason we stock common parts on our trucks for same-day repair, and the reason we send a photo of the cleanup before we drive away. In San Antonio’s climate, a broken AC is a legitimate health concern for infants, elderly relatives, and anyone with respiratory issues. Our guarantee means we show up quickly, fix the problem correctly, and stand behind the work for a full year afterwards. That is the only kind of guarantee worth having in this city.
Frequently Asked Questions
It covers our workmanship on any repair or installation we perform. If we fixed your AC and the same issue returns within 365 days because of something we did incorrectly, we come back and make it right at no charge. It does not cover new problems, manufacturer part failures outside their own warranty terms, neglect, or damage from events like flooding or lightning. If you are not sure whether your issue falls under the promise, call (254) 271-2545 and a live person will look up your job record and tell you straight.
Yes, on every visit, every time, with no exceptions. Before any work starts, you receive a written price for the diagnosis, the repair, or the installation. You review it, you approve it, and only then does the work begin. That is a Cedarwell Care Promise standard, and Luis Serrano repeats it to every technician at every team meeting. If a technician ever starts work without your written approval, call (254) 271-2545 and ask for the owner directly.

We schedule a return visit at a time that fits your household, re-diagnose the issue, and if the problem is our workmanship, we fix it with no labor charge under the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If it is a separate issue, we provide a written price and you approve it before any additional work. Either way, the return visit includes shoe covers, drop cloths, and a cleanup photo, same as the first visit.
Yes. Meadowsweet Heating and Air San Antonio is a Texas-licensed HVAC contractor, insured and bonded. Our technicians are background-checked, uniformed, and trained on the C.A.R.E. values code. The licensing and insurance are what back up the guarantee with real financial protection, so you are never left holding the cost of a job that went wrong.
Yes. A new AC or furnace installation carries the same 365-Day Done Right Promise on our labor and workmanship. That includes the install quality, the duct connections, the electrical work, and the startup. The equipment itself carries the manufacturer’s warranty, and because we service all nine major brands, Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, and American Standard, we can handle any warranty paperwork and parts logistics on your behalf.
In most cases, yes. We keep common parts stocked on our service trucks and we answer the phone with a live person 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so if your AC quits during a San Antonio heat wave, we can often get a technician to your neighborhood the same day. Call (254) 271-2545 and tell us where you are. We will give you a straight answer on timing and a written price before any work begins.
